Lovisa Fung (Ph.D., M.T., OCT) is a documentarian, qualitative researcher, and award-winning university educator whose work bridges education, research, and creative practice. Her professional experience encompasses university teaching, curriculum development, educational research, documentary filmmaking, writing, and public speaking.

Lovisa's scholarly interests span interdisciplinary innovation, curriculum and pedagogy, educational policy enactment, and qualitative inquiry. Grounded in an interpretive orientation, her research explores the complexities of human experience, with particular attention to how individuals understand, navigate, and shape their educational and professional contexts. Her work in documentary filmmaking extends these interests into creative and arts-based approaches to knowledge production, representation, and mobilization, exploring possibilities for making research accessible and meaningful to diverse audiences.
She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Pedagogy from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto, where her doctoral research examined educators' experiences of creating autobiographical documentaries.
